Does anyone know if Vault can be used with pounce?? And if so would you vault before you took the click for pounce? Or would you have to have leap/climb on your dial after you take the pounce click to do a vault? All help is greatly appreciated!

Vault can be used with Pounce, since Pounce grants a close combat attack, which activates Vault. BUT, you'd take the Pounce click first, since Vault only kicks in after the resolution of the close attack. And yes, you'd still need to have L/C (or combat reflexes) to do the Vaulting.

That's not right.

Vault says:

Pounce is a Power Action that grants a Close Combat Attack, so since there was no Close Combat Action, Vault can't be used.

I agree with Jakgotbak. Using the General QnA from WK. The Pounce+BCF question has pretty much the same answer. BCF and Vault require a CC Action. But, Pounce gives a CC Attack instead so the two are not compatable.

A: No. Pounce grants a free close combat attack and Blades/Claws/Fangs requires a close combat action.

gotta agree with jak on this one too. gotta love the semantics of "action" and "attack"

or the confusion of them.
