i want to become a judge once i find a venue that would work. my friend that is still active can sponsor me. but if i cant find one then i will just ask around.

This is probably my last post here, but: If you find a Venue, they can sponsor you to be a Judge.

Regardless, if being a Judge is your goal, keep asking questions here, reading threads including other players' questions, and maybe even trying to answer the questions that others' ask. I've found it's one of the best ways to learn.

Actually, there doesn't seem to be any reason that a venue couldn't be in a flea market, so long as you sell some type of product (thusly paying taxes on the profit.)

You would have to ok it with the people who run the flea market though, because you'd probably have to pay to be apart of it. (If somebody runs a shop at the flea market, and they play, all they would have to do is start selling some heroclix.) and you would be accepted.

You just have to select "Kiosk" as the building type, and that the wares being sold is considered "other".
