You've got 2099 Hulk 2 squares away from KC Superman. Lets say Hulk moved there on his own accord. Does he have to roll for KC TA because he's adjacent to Superman, or does Superman have to be adjacent to him for it to take effect?

It is when the giant moves adjacent, ergo 3 squares out (rather than normal 2)

BigSoph is right. Hulk's adjacency is two squares out. so i that would pass by a KC figure, he's rolling.

The way to get around the KC Ta is to have someone TK or carry your piece adjacent to the KC peice.

...which isn't really an option for a giant.
