As many of you know, I'm dyslexic and can't always find the rule in need in a crisis...
BUT
A character has RCE, Trick Shot and Barrier.
Why can't they use this combo to errect a barrier behind a character or characters to which they would not have line of sight without Trick Shot ?
I know this can't be possible (I'd have used it by now if it were), but why isn't it ???
LoL

The Marvel E&C (and the subsequent reprint of the card in Legacy) specify that only attacks can be made using Trick Shot. No Barrier, no Outwit, no PC, etc. Only attacks.
Well, for one, it is called "trick shot", not "trick outwit"
Also, have you ever really faced a team with that didn't enforce the attack only rule? It can really, really old really, really fast. When the card first came out in Mutant Mayhem, a guy I played against ran a bunch of Pyros with Trick Shot. Between the "I can shoot you just about anywhere" and the "I'll place Barriers just about anywhere to break up your formations" I didn't stand a chance. True, that is a pretty extreme circumstance, but the abuse was out there.
