Very nice review, and really says what we all were thinking.
Namely... WHAT THE HECK IS THIS COSTING 2 POINTS MORE THAN THE EXP?!?!?!
I mean, if she were in the 170ish ballpark, I think that would work better, but as it is... er, um, er... eesh.
(Sorry joeldad!)
Yeah, well, evidently I'm:

For liking/using her. I'm SO glad I don't care what other people think or I'd chew people up one side and down the other. I would change the above blanket hate statement to something a little more kind, especially to those of us in the community who don't like to use certain pieces just because they are 'better'. Better is in the mind of the player not the pieces, I've addressed this topic before:

This figure fits my playing style because I like to use figures other people think aren't worth it. I would use her over V Bizarro anyday, she's more of a bargain. Sure she has problems with attack and damage, but I've made U Lex Luthor from Icons into a winner several times. STOP complaining about how a character isn't as good a such and such, when you get that figure challenge yourself to beat everyone else with her, and then you will not only have taken the high road by not using common figures but you'll also feel better about yourself for using a figure with that great of a sculpt and paint job.
Essence of my post, quit complaining and actually use the figure before you judge it please. Don't complain about a figure, complain to yourself about how you can't step out and come up with a way to win with that figure.
I realize my opinion may not amount to a hill of beans on the Realms seeing as I make my home on the WK forums but if I went with the figures and strategies that ubergamers and 'everyone else' would use I wouldn't have won tournaments/numerous HCOnline matches with the likes of Iron Monger/Giant Man (on the same team), Multiple Giant Figure teams, Several different Injustice Leagues (with the likes of Black Manta, Queen Bee, and all the other 'terrible' IL pieces), Black Scorpion, Lord Recluse, and tons of other examples.
I don't think I could play a mainline team/figure/strategy every week, I did that for about the first year and half of my Clix career, it got BORING really fast. I'm not saying I win all the time with cheese or without it, I'm just not keen on crushing fellow Clix players with things they've seen before, and even when it is an LE I care about I bust out 'odd' teams in those situations and remain competitive as well.
I don't think players that play teams/figures that aren't 'normal' should be considered/called masochistic but should be applauded. It's called having an imagination and trying to make one's self a better player, team builder, and strategist if one can win with the 'terrible', what can that player do with the excellent when the time comes?
1. Shameless Plug: Anyone want an unopened LE Supergirl?
2. Joel, I'm glad you were able to win with LE Supergirl and other inefficient figures, but the point is she is just TERRIBLE for her cost, especially when she's right next to her Experienced, who is 2 points less and trumps her in every way possible.
Come play in a mafia game! Hey! I'm talking to you, Scott Pilgrim!

I'm not debating whether or not she's a good figure (obviously she isn't a great deal for 194 points), I'm debating whether or not someone should be chastised for trying to use her.

Let's be clear; I'm not chastising anyone, I simply believe that only two types of folks will play LE Supergirl - the masochistic and the strictly theme driven. Personally, I'm the later and so I'll get this figure on the board a time or two with comics accurate teammates. Not being the best investment for about 200 points I don't have any illusions about winning with a team fronted by Evil Cheeks, but she should be entertaining to play.

I fall into neither category so your 'belief' is wrong. I like using pieces no one else likes and showing people they are good. Both of your categories listed are demeaning because you're implying that one has some sort of attraction to a plastic pieces (which is sickening) and that one isn't willing to be flexible in themes.
So either you need to expand your gamer type dictionary a little in judging people or I just fall into a category you've never seen (or obviously want to accept) before.

If you mean the masochism label, that's not about attraction...masochism is the love of punishing yourself. I agree the label is sickening if taken literally, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't meant that way (and it has nothing to do with attraction to plastic pieces).

I don't know why it's a big deal...as soon as I saw this LE I knew I had to add her to my collection...even if she's not a good value for the points, she gives me more Supergirl theme options. Maybe I'm just thick-skinned, but I don't see his labels as being particularly "demeaning" (well, unless you take the masochism label literally), even though he's obviously applying them to me as well. I actually take a little pride in the fact that I'm willing to take some performance penalties in order to play the game as I think it should be played - thematically. Let the heathens bandy their labels around!
CarlosMucha: that is like be running in a Olimpic race competition just one step to get the gold and then a Giant children place a mirror in your side and you discover what you are really a hamster over a whell and the gold is just a slice of chess. Avatar Summoning: Original GotG, Melter, Whiplash

I'll defend ol_dut. I've played a "Team Luthor" clix team based around the original Wild Card clix Supergirl, and despite actually winning a tournament with that team, there is no way I'd consider it a "good team". I'm very tempted to try to build a similar team around the new LE (I think I won this as fellowship partially because of my previously sticking with my aforementioned team), but that would be for exactly the reasons ol_dut suggests.
This Supergirl isn't a bad piece, but like most Superman Enemies, it is a very bad piece for its points. She's also got a very disappointing 6 range...so for her almost 200 points, it's likely that she's going to be shredded to pieces before she has crossed the map.

That's not what I'm debating, I'm debating being called something I'm not. The LE is a terrible figure for the cost, but that's not what I'm debating here.
I'm debating being categorized into a category I don't belong in and also being judged instead.
There is no reason for this line in a HeroClix review:

Especially when the reviewer is addressing ALL ranges of HeroClix players, I would like to believe that most of them who play LE Supergirl aren't masochistic or inflexible.
I just don't like being labeled or looked down upon for my playing style.
