I apologize if this question has already been asked, but I did not see it in the forums.
Here is the wording of Contingency Plan:
If the character's controller does not use all of his or her actions for a turn, put a contingency token on this card if there are two or fewer tokens on this card. When a friendly character is given an action, you can remove any number of tokens from this card: The character modifies the friendly characters speed, attack, or range value by +1 for each token removed.
When the character loses Leadership or Mastermind, remove all contingency tokens from this card.
If I have 2 tokens on the card, is it possible to remove 1 to give +1 to attack and 1 to give +1 to range, or must all tokens removed at a given time modify the same combat value?

You may "remove any number of tokens", so it is definitely possible to take just a +1 to one value and leave other tokens.
The trickier question: Can you take two tokens off the card when a friendly character takes an action, but get +1 to two different values; eg, +1 to range and +1 to attack?
I think you can, but I am not entirely confident about that.
And fair, just the way i like it. It's a card that actually makes sense, helps make some underpowered abilities more useful, is a nice bonus to your team, but not a requirement to use to be competitive. Thank the lordy they didn't let you add on to damage. Maybe Wizkids have figured this whole card thing out, i think so far, so good on these last two sets.
Now i just need to find this card so i can actually use it.

Did you just use "underpowered" in reference to Mastermind!?!?
CT Dr. Doom never had a problem with its usefulness!

I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper. I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries....now go away or I shall taunt you a second time.

I've yet to see, or use, a team or figure that made great use of Mastermind. But there is always exceptions. Most of the figs that have mastermind don't have enough going for them to make you want to keep them around and deal damage to someone else :\

You brought a question and you quoted the source. I'm gonna keep shooting out praise and rep whenever I see this.
My dream is that someday, all rules questions will look like this.
(As for answering your question, I make it a point not to disagree with BigSoph when I think he's right. )

The trouble with powers like Mastermind is that unlike, say, Outwit or Running Shot, it requires another friendly figure to work. It also requires taking damage to work. That's why it's not so high on the ladder. CT Dr. Doom gets a lot out of Mastermind because he's loaded with much better powers he can use on that click.
Back on topic: Contingency Plan is the new In Contact With Oracle, but it's better balanced. I love it.
