The Atom/LE is still the only piece I give BT to. Doesn't Elongated Man's LE start with Perplex to answer another poster's question?

Elongated Man and his LE only have perplex or Outwit.

Is it too late for me just to say that I really dislike Brilliant Tactician as a feat? :cross-eye

Any reason why? It's pretty expensive and with LoS issue it's not often you can pull off more than 2-3 figs getting benefit. I don't see it being anymore abusable lots of other feats.

I don't think it is abusable at all. I don't like it for all the usual reasons:

• It's hard to pull off (Line-of-Fire, plus "teammate requirements")
• It's a very pricey feat, and one that you can usually only use for a small part of any dial
• From this thread (and in competititon), it's obvious a large number of people don't know how it works.

People just haven't kept up on the update. It effects like 4 pieces. They'll learn.
I haven't spent time looking at new Keyword options for BT. I'm really excited about the possibilities. Maximus for Inhumans? Awesome! Like they needed to get any better, but at least Maximus has a use now. Now we just need an 'unlikely truce' feat to allow archenemies on the same team (since they seem to be ditching the concept anyway).

Alrighty then I thought you felt the other way (IE to powerful) and that confused me 'cause I agree it's very limited for a 20 point feat.

At the same time, it's got a lot of potential to be dominating. I say 20 points is fair. It's a lot like ICWO, but with a lot more +1s for 20 points and a lot less endurance.

LE Ray Palmer + BT + Coordination FTW

The biggest problem with BT is the LOS issues vs. cost. Ray Palmer + Coordination can see all his fellow teammates (JLA Team Symbol, Scientist Keyword, and Justice League of America Keyword), and he's got a ridiculous defense with Super Senses on his first click and a ridiculous defense with Stealth on his second click, so in general it wouldn't be worth it to try and get to him.

On top of that he's one of the cheapest BTs out there at 68 points.

He is the only one I put the feat on. He can be brutal with the combo mentioned above, especially on Scientist theme teams and Justice League teams.

I think BT is pretty powerful. E Shaman is pretty good with it. T-bolt to batman and give him coordination and you can get some sick results. I'm not saying the click is the best one, but being able to BT mysticals AND the avengers have gotta count for something. Pretty much any scientist that can use it is where it's at though.

Also I like the thought of Baron strucker as a BT as well. It can get a little expensive, but for soldier this could work. Correct me if I'm wrong: Have oracle on her card and assign the Baron as one of the agents. If you turn her dial to perplex this should easily let him use on his first click as he does actually have perplex later on his dial. That combined with coordination could make for some nastiness!!

So far as I know, that is a legal tactic.

I like the Ray Palmer (w/Co-ordination) idea. As I wrote earlier in the thread, I've used BT on Shaman (to multi-Perplex the rest of Alpha Flight) to great results...but Shaman is such a fragile (perplexer).

The Hydra sleeper agaent in me like the Baron Strucker idea...but the accountants at Hydra HQ insist that those feat points be spent on Trick Shot for LE Viper! Baron Strucker's request for Inspiring Commander has been fully authorized however.
