my guess about the league of extrodinary gentlemen movie is that it will be kinda bad. i saw the trailer last night, and it was pretty dissapointing. i mean, they casted shane frickin' west, the most low-talent pretty boy in hollywood. why??? it sickens me. i will still see it, but i do not think critics or the public will like it. that's just my guess, i may be wrong.

well, skeevo666, i see what you mean, but shane west is jsu ta terrible actor! he will bring every one else down no matter who they are, even sean connery. maybe it was jsut the trailer for another bad sounding movie whose trailer i saw (willard), but i do not think lxg will do well in theaters.

I thought the trailer looked pretty good, myself. I liked the ritzy 40's style they showed. I'm anxious to see it.

Trailers do not always accurately convey their movies. I'm not familiar with Shane West, but why not give him a chance to redeem himself . . ?
Seriously. Look at the trailer to Donnie Darko. Seems like som bad teen slasher pic, but it is FAR from that.
If there was absolute freedom, people would run over babies and charge admission.

FYI, I picked up the new Wizard (#139, April 2003) at the grocery store yesterday. In addition to pics there's a brief quote from Shane West:
"Working with Connery has been a dream come true. I've learned so much from him over the course of the film. It's like going to acting school"
