OK, asides from HUSH being a great Batman storyline in my opinion, I'm still curious who the main enemy is going to turn out to be. At first I was assuming it was Bruce's friend Tommy, but after issue #613 Im not so sure now....Anyone have any guesses as to who the mystery villain is gonna turn out to be?
Really, you think Hush is shaping up good so far? I was talkign to a friend yesterday and we both though it was kind disjointed with very little flow to it.
They introduced Green Ivy and Croc for no real reason. Sent them to Met. just to figh Superman (no other real reason for that trip, and the fight let me down a little). Then in the last issue they introduce the idea of a new villian thats "behind the scenes" that hasn't even been mentioned before, they just say it like they've been building this "seceret villian" since the first issue. And while I'm sure the next issue with Batman and Joker will be very interesting, I doubt it will really add to the storyline as a whole.
I've read several of Loebs other Batman storys and have liked all them, but this one just seems kinda disjointed. While the ones like Long Halloween, each issue had a point, flowed into the next one, there weren't issues or character introduced just to see them etc....
Thats being said I'm enjoying the run. The art is great (Jim Lee is always great) and the storylines are ok (not great, not bad) but they just don't seem like one big storyline.
Theres only one Return, and it ain't of the King, its of the Jedi.
I haven't noticed any flaws really so far...so far, somebody set up an expensive kidnapping to make some cash and to get Batman's attention. Which they did. Croc was used to kidnap the kid, really he was just hired muscle to get the kid, and wouldnt have ended up with a cut of the money anways. Poison Ivy then took the money to Metropolis to give a share to the "man behind the scenes". He's been throughout the storyline so far as well. He didnt just appear, he's been watching Batman through binoculars etc. Im bettin all unanswered questions will be answered eventually anyways, so im lookin forward to it.
