On Saturday I'll have a Xplosion booster draft tournment.

8 players (I think), 3 boosters each. The boosters are opened, and then the players choose their figures to build a 300 point team.

Which figures should I go for? Which ones should I avoid?

I am not asking which XP figure is the best, every figure can make miracles with the adeguate support. But here the choices are limitated.

For instance, there is not a lot of Outwit in this set, and Black Panther is in Wakanda. So is Mandarin better than a Unique for this tournment?

I know that Moondragon is the Queen of Mind Control, but are Sauron or The Leader good substitutes?

At the moment, I only hope I can get hold of a Shadowcat and a Iceman and play inside.

Any other picking and strategy suggestion is welcome; and I hope azs is listening...

For the gamble of indoors, I think you have to look at Silver Samurai. He and Shadowcat taxi'ing indoors should be able to shred almost anything. Otherwise though, the Mandarin's, Crymson Dynamo's and Storm's (nice,cheap high damage fig) should do the do in ranged, outdoor maps also.

I'm not sure about Silver Samurai... He phases through walls and then.. he stays there being attacked! Or am I missing anything?

Silver samurai is great for medic kill runs. Grab a Taskmastertoo. any version will do.the guy is awesome.
