Hi all... I know this has come up before, I can nae find it.
Ifyou are on the *inside corner* of an L-shaped elevated configuration, what is your ability to draw lines of fire to/from the 45-degree grounded line below?
GGEE
GGEE
GEXE
GEEE
E = elevated terrain
X = ranged figure on elevated
G = grounded terrain
Thanks!

Elevated figures ignore figure bases of grounded non-giant / colossal figures for Line if Fire purposes.
When drawing Line of Fire from an elevated position to a grounded position, NO line can cross into any square of elevated terrain that the attacker is not in.
In your example, assuming I'm reading it right, the only Line of Fire the elevated figure could draw to grounded level would be along that one single corner making up the "rim" of his square.
(I stink at this, but will try):
X= Line of Fire
G= Grounded (No line of fire)
E = Elevated
A = Attacker

Are you sure about this?
In other cases, the corner between two squares that block LoF also blocks LoF.
In other cases, the corner between two squares that block LoF also blocks LoF.
This was my concern (since the LoF in this case passes through the diagonal of two squares that would otherwise be obstructing). Perhaps without any specific description it is assumed to be clear though (since in all other cases of diagonals between blocking/figures/hindering they have specific statements about it).
I'm sitll hoping there was an official answer...

This is true in all those cases, because the rules specify that it works that way:

• the line of fire passes through a square that contains a character other than the attacker or the target (Figure 11-A);
• the line of fire crosses blocking terrain (Figure 11-B);
• the line of fire passes between two adjacent characters, even on an exact diagonal (Figure 11-C); or
• the line of fire from a soaring attacker to a soaring target passes through a soaring character (Figure 11-D).

As shown in Figure 16, a line of fire that passes through the diagonal of two diagonally adjacent squares of blocking terrain is blocked by the blocking terrain. A line of fire that passes through the diagonal between a square of blocking terrain and a square containing a character is blocked.
In the instance of two diagonally adjacent squares of elevated terrain, however, there is no rule that causes a LoF, that passes through that diagonal, to be blocked.
The answer provided by tyroclix is correct.
