The museum map raised a question, what kind of terrain does the dino count as?

Haven't seen the map but if he doesn't have a large black line around the squares he's in, he's hindering.

Its an indoor map - there is no elevated terrain.

But there are stairs on that map too...

Is it stated somewhere that indoor maps can't have elevated terrain? The warehouse that comes with the Marvel premiere box set has those crates... I've been playing them as elevated.

There is no indoor elevated terrain. Those are clearly stairs to an adjacent room on the same level as the dino room. The crates in the warehouse are stacked all the way to the roof. Now, you can destroy one square and make it hindering, THEN you can stand on that square if you want.

what about the colored mats the dino bones sit on, I've seen it ruled both ways(mat as hindering, or squares containing the bones only?

I have seen the 'colored squares' ruled as clear stating that they were just rugs. Any colored square with a picture on it though, would be consider hindering. I think its under the MAP FAQ from Chapeau.
