A few days later at Legion HQ, The two teams stood at the Time Institute where Brainiac 5 and Mr. Terrific were talking with a dark haired youth in hushed tones. Nearby the rest of the teams intermingles with Light banter.

Hawkman was studying the artifacts in the museum stopping to look first at the Cosmic Treadmill used so often by Flash. Then to Chronos Sundial....His eyes finally settled on Booster Golds suit....He smiled. How interesting.

Rokk Krinn stood near the entrance with Imra Ardeen as she kept a mental scan going to make sure they weren't interupted....Garth Ranzz entered flexing his cybernetic arm and grinning..."Much better than the old one" he remarked. Imra laughed mentally and gave him a mental pinch as she telepathically said You're too cute Garth

Stargirl walked nearby with Supergirl. "You sure you dont want to go home? Superman and the rest would love to see you Kara."

"I know Courtney, But when I was shunted off into the future at first my mission was to get home, but then I found something I never knew in the 20th century"

"What is that Kara?"

her gaze turning to Brainiac-5 briefly, before turning back to her newfound friend "Umm a place I belong"

Stargirl did not miss the glance and smiled saying simply "I understand, Brainy guys can be so sexy"

Supergirl giggled and said "Its fun to see him blush"

Stargirl laughed and tossed her hair back and remarked "What shade of green does he turn?"

Supergirl giggled harder and said "Its almost like puke"

The two girls laughed and headed back to where the majority was standing. Hawkgirl and Wildfire, Triplicate Girl and Hourman. Wildcat and Chameleon...who was entertaining the goup with mimicry of His favorite 20th century hero Plastic Man....Loud laughter resounded in the sterile hall

The fun was interrupted by the trio of inventors coming up as Brainiac 5 said "Rond here has agreed to allow you to use an artifact he has been working on restoring, We do not know how if it is at 100%, but apparently Our three founding members..." he glared at them..." have already experimented with it successfully.. Michael has linked his T-Spheres into its guidance computer and believes he can guide you home.

The man known as Mr. Terrific said solemnly to his Justice Society Allies. "We can go home, Then I have set the controls to return the bubble here after we exit and I say the command word."

Hawkman looked at the Time Bubble..."Isn't this the one Rip used?"

Rond Vidar spoke up then nd said "Yes we believe so, though Mr. Hunter destroyed all of his notes on its usage and how he created it in the first place. No amount of reverse engineering seems to be able to replicate its strange power source."

"Which is?" asked Ted Grant, Boxer turned Mysteryman...

"I found these strange black gems in the storage" Remarked Rond holding up a glass case holding several small black diamonds. "They may have something to do with the chronal energies, though Brainiac-5 doesnt think so."

Mr. Terrific followed it up with "Brainiac and I are in agreement not to tamper with the sphere til after we are home, then he and Rond are going to look deeper into what makes it tick."

Kendra remarked "Good Idea!"

Slowly good byes were said, and the Justice Society stood inside the bubble as the Legion stood without a few waves and smiles and the bubble disappeared from view.....almost instantly it was back without the Justice Society.

Brainiac walked up to Rokk and said "You will have to give me an exact accounting of all that happened when you were playing around on a vacation to the past"

Rokk laughed and said "Relax Brainy, it's all in the files"

Brainiac 5 said with a serious look on his face "You put your information on time travel in the computer files where everyone can find them? I cannot believe even you would be so careless"

Livewire looked at Imra and Rokk and they all laughed. "Brainy can't you relax even for a few minutes. Its protected. Why do you think you never stumbled on it?"

The team began to file out of the Time Institute, not even paying attention to the case of black crystal that had began to emit an erie purple-black glow.
