This should be a simple question. I know when you charge you cannot pick up a object adjacent to your enemy. But on a normal move can I pick up a object to finish my move when I become adjacent to an enemy? Also if your enemy is standing on a object and you want to pick it up do you have to roll breakaway even thoughj you are not moving from that space?

When you move, you can pick up an object next to an opponent and end your move. You cannot pick up an object your opponent is on.

I may be wrong but i think you can pick up the object your opponent is standing on.

You can pick up an object as long as you're not adjacent to the object and the opponent at the same time.If you roll breakaway you may pick up the object your opponent is standing on and if you have charge you can still attack.If you have leap/climb or phase you may pick up an object your opponent is standing on and continue to move.I think that covers most.

Four Winds is correct. But, if you have L/C and Super Strength, ala Hulk, Abomination, you can move right past an opponent, conveniently picking that object up along the way, exposing that #### stealthed Panther for all to see & hit.

So when I become adjacent to an opponent I can or cannot pick up a object that is adjacent to my opponent? I know leap/climb and phasing characters can do what they want. I am still not sure of this. Thanks for your answers though.

Actually I think I know what you mean. You can pick up a object adjacent to your opponent as long as your not adjacent to him at the same time. I guess the only time you cannot pick up the object on your move is if they are on top of the object. Unless of course you start your move adjacent to them, then you would have to role breakaway I assume. Thanks.

Since picking up an object is part of a MOVE action, and figures without HSS, Phasing, or L/C MUST end their movement immediately upon becoming adjacent to an opponent, you CANNOT, without the benefit of the aforementioned powers, pick up an object when you become adjacent to an opponent as part of your move.
