This is my 300 point Avengers team for the next Constructed Event.
The Incredible Hulk LE - 113
Cap n' Bucky SR - 138
Quicksilver SR - 49
There are 3 guys for a perfect 300 and with you using all your actions you obviously should be using Alpha Flight with it. Alpha Flight included this makes a great team.
The BFCs you use are Low Gravity, because then they can send guys flying who don't have Move & Attack. So you knock them back a little and they can't get their second attack perhaps while you get another chance to move in.
Another BFC to use is Poor Teamwork, then everyone's mobility is reduced.
The most obvious one is Crosswinds, your opponent can not fly and neither can you.
The strong points of this team are...
Hulk is super strong and not even the highest point guy out there. With Cap's Perplex and Alpha Flight he can Move and Attack without any penalty or if he's already based he gets pretty ridiculous numbers.
Cap n' Bucky add perplex which is really good with a HSS character or a Transporter to make sure they hit or make sure they do damage before running back. They also add another Invuln and the Duo Attack which is super useful. One of the most important aspects is the charge to keep your whole team moving and attacking. They need to be on them team also for range attacks and the wide variety of powers they gain later will really beef them up. And with Alpha Flight they won't go down below a 9 attack!
Quicksilver is HSS with Alpha Flight and perhaps a Perplex added to him. That means he'll hit his target, perhaps for good damage then be gone with the wind. He is usually the first Avenger I put on my team for his cheap cost and great usefulness.
This team is pretty basic, Move and Attack with good values. They're very offensive but have High Defense parts of their dials with things like Invuln or Super Senses. The team works well together and the strategy is pretty simple. Quicksilver runs in and hits and runs out. Hulk runs in and hits and runs out. If anyone gets too close to Cap n' Bucky, call back the other 2 while CnB hold their own.
One thing I didn't mention, for BFCs...the one from the X-Men danger room, FEARLESS ASSAULT, works awesome because it pumps up their Move and Attack range. So try to get your opponent close to your starting area and then when he realizes his mistake it'll be too late. I did that with a similar team and used the starting area to slingshot past his power pieces over to his hidden pieces that were still on his side of the map. Worked really well but I ran outta time so I didn't get my win.
Ace of the Secret Society of Supervillains Clan!
Yellowjacket (Human) - 100 points of P-Y-M-P - Sweet Papa Doom/BPW
Also, Malice is great for a BFC because it takes advantage of those who didn't play theme. Especially in a more than 2 person match. Either way you win.
