Oh man, that makes "Smokey and the Bear" easily 1000 times more awesome. Although it does beg the question why he didn't just whale on those hillbillies in "Deliverance". Squeal like a pig, indeed.

Even if you did, you shouldn't go back and change this - Somehow with that stache, I think your title - intentional or not - is way better!

As most of you weren't even a glimmer in your daddy's eye when the movie came out, your lack of knowlege of 70's cinematic hits can be forgiven. However, if you ever find yourself on one of those trivia game shows...
"Smokey the Bear" is a 1950's and later PSA (public service announcement) character - "only you can prevent forest fires" - to my knowlege, he never starred in a movie featuring Burt Reynolds.
"Smokey and the Bandit" was a 70's flick starring Burt Reynolds (the bandit - aka "Omni-Man") and Jackie Gleason (smokey - a southern/hick/cb/slang term for a sherrif/state patrolman).
