I don't like either that much, but I think the better figure is Sentry.

Sentry is a ton of fun to play. T-bolt him to MOE and add Shellhead, and he'll be able to attack every turn with a permanent +2 to his defense.

I need a good bear character for my smokey and the bear team.

I've crushed with Sentry and have crushed Omni-Man (with a Titans force).

Sentry > Omni-Man, except for the sculpt.

"Smokey the Bear" is a 1950's and later PSA (public service announcement) character - "only you can prevent forest fires" - to my knowlege, he never starred in a movie featuring Burt Reynolds.

"Smokey and the Bandit" was a 70's flick starring Burt Reynolds (the bandit - aka "Omni-Man") and Jackie Gleason (smokey - a southern/hick/cb/slang term for a sherrif/state patrolman).

Never insult Smokey and the Bandit, it was out before your dad knew your mom. It was out before My parents even knew eachother.

I used to use Sentry as an Omni-Man fill-in for father-son team-ups before they deactivated AE bases, but Omni-Man is much better.
