Having fun and winning are not mutually inclusive. You can have fun and not win. You can win and not have fun doing it (if I played Galactus, this would be the case). Playing against Galactus as a force generally denies the opposing player both.

No, you're right, it would be lame to bring a SUB team. I'm hoping to bring two- a SUB and a fun one. If Galactus appears, sorry, I'm not letting him through without my own brand of cheddar. If it's free and clear? Go, Secret Society of Evil! Laugh nefariously!

As a quick aside, I'm going to guess that the amount of controversy involved in this thread implies that yes, one can use SUB against Galactus, assuming an indoor map. Paging Prison Map, paging Prison Map.

Someone else also mentioned building a team that had the capability of going SUB but could be played otherwise. I think this is a brilliant idea. Play it for fun when you can, but when Big Purple (Barney? It all makes sense now...) arrives, run and hide. That's how I'd survive a planet eater assault, if it were me.
