Darkseid can use invulnerable, mastermind, and willpower.
Does this mean he can use INV to reduce the damage by 2, then mastermind the balance?
Nope.
The Leader (from M&M) approximately has the same power (in his case, MM + Thoughness (instead of INV)), but as babloid said there (check the last post), it's one or the other: either you choose to Mastermind the damage to someone else (hence no -2 from INV since Darkseid isn't dealt any damage), or you deal it to Darkseid (who reduces it by 2 thanks to INV). You can't have both.
Yeah, you might not be able to move with damage, but he can still fire at adjacent figures.
Also, I just notices that there is not any restriction on WHAT kind of figure he moves. So he can move enemy double bases, Duo, Giants and Collosals. That is kinda cool, cause if you move them far enough from their support they can get pretty hosed.
thats right, he can totally swing galactus/spectre into or out of range of your other figures, provided theyre within his 12 range ( or whatever perplexed does to it how you want)
at least unless they erase that with errata.
also, another good note is that because he can do the close combat, if someone with stealth bases him, he could shoot them instead of punch, in the case of psycho pirate's special, or combat reflexes, feats, ect. high options are very nice.
and as for the outsiders/communications breakdown- he'd keep his 12 range???? and 4 damage?
I miss? PC it. You hit? PC it. I hit? I can do better, PC anyways. You miss? I DIDN'T SEE SNAKE EYES, PC IT!

This is under discussion at the Judges forum at the moment. No final ruling has been made either way.

No. Outsiders and Comm Breakdown only affect modifiers - that is, pluses or minuses. Halving and reducing to a set value (0 in this case) are both replacement values and not affected by Outsiders or CB (or the rule of 3, for that matter - that applies when modifying).
1. Communcation Breakdown
2. Outsider team ability: Once at the beginning of your turn as a free action, a member of this team chooses a target friendly or opposing character within 10 squares; the member must have clear line of fire to the target. Until the beginning of your next turn, the target may not be the target of powers or team abilities that modify its combat values. This team ability may not be copied by wild card team abilities.
I just wanted to point out that these things would stop the -2, as that is a modifier, but making the damage 0 is a replacement and could not be prevented with these things.
And I need to preference this by saying that I haven't played Heroclix in over a year so please be nice.
Can Darkseid target a friendly character with Option #3 of the Omega Effect? Let's say Batman is a friendly character and is locked up against Superman and he's also about to get KO'd, can Darkseid use #3 and move him away from Superman?
Let's say he can't move friendly figures like Batman then I'm assuming if he has LOF to Superman then he could move Superman away then, right?

Nope. It is still an attack. Attacks cannot be performed against friendlies unless specifically stated.

Well I hope they keep it as is, the Omega Effect is one of the most power effects in the DCU. Darkseid is able to do just about anything he wants with those eye beams of his. I could see them eliminationg Collasals but Giants are very much still open to him.
Another note, His penetrating damage would not be ignored by the big 4 right? So he could really trash Spectre, Galactus, Foom, Starro.
i could have really used them last 600 point game hahahaha, spectre showed himself, the 600 point one... and my team that had obliterated everything else was shut down by impervious. i got one hit in, and then it was over. now! NOW! with 13 range against his 12, id have a much better chance.

No, as it is penetrating damage, not Physic Blast. Thier rules say nothing about penetrating damage. As such a good hit with a meteorite also smacks colossals around in a bad way.
Now as I understand so far Darkseid's power can have his remain at base level for option 2 with outsiders/Communication Breakdown. But what about the other two options and Isolation BFC? Some people here say its a replacement value, but technically his card doesn't say that. So would it be affected by Isolation?
