SO here's a question. With the new feat prerequisite rules in place will the Feat Construct stack with Kyle Rayner's Construct special power? Is this the ultimate tie up piece?
CONSTRUCTS: Kyle Rayner can use Barrier. Any opposing character adjacent to a terrain marker placed by Kyle Rayner that attempt to move (or would be moved by a power, ability, or effect used by another character) must attempt to break away; this effect ignores powers, abilities, and effects that allow characters to break away automatically.

Prerequisite: Barrier
Choose a character. The SP and the feat have the same wording. They don't meaningfully stack, they just overlap because they both require characters adjacent to the barrier markers to break away. Putting the Construct feat on Kyle would just be redundant.
I agree with Ihsan. Construct feat won't give any advantages to Kyle Rayner.
But since Kyle can use barrier, and with the new rule allowing special powers that grant the use of specific powers as prerequisites, it can be done legally. It's just adding points to an already expensive character without any additional benefits in my opinion.
Trigon is one of my favorites so far that gains from the feat change.
Doppleganger, then Construct so even that phasing character still has to break away.

I was thinking Reshape Reality where he gets to put out two free Barrier tokens

The Dopplegangers aren't barrier tokens. But using the free Barrier action strategically should work in conjunction with Doppleganger.

If Kyle Rayner "ION" had any clix of barrier besides his construct SP it would work.
