L.M.D.: Nick Fury can use Mastermind. When Nick Fury is dealt damage, you can reduce the damage by 2. If you do, after the attack resolves immediately put Nick Fury in an unoccupied square in the corner of the map (or as close to the corner as possible) that does not share an edge with the starting area used by Nick Fury.
Does Psychic Blast/Exploit Weakness work on Nick's L.M.D.? I'm guessing it does, but we weren't really sure.

Ok, thats what I thought. It was just the wording that had me thinking it may work the other way.
In the SI: Dials in Progress list, it was written as, "When NF is dealt damage, reduce the damage dealt by 2.'' But, on his card, it says, "When NF is dealt damage, you can reduce the damage by 2." When I noticed that, I thought it may override the penetrating part. Like maybe it happened after the damage had been applied or something.
Thanks for the help, though! I'm glad we did it right, in game.

I just noticed: The wording on this allows you to appear in any corner on maps that have starting areas inset into the map, like the Latveria map from the FF starter. That's pretty cool.
On the other hand, maps that have the starting areas in the corner give Nick fewer options. On the Space map, for example, he must appear in the opponent's starting area!

Yeah, when I used him this week, I couldn't help but think how much he would rule on the Latveria map. He was pretty hard to take out, in all 3 games, on the 2x3 Crash Site map. I only lost him in 1 of 3 games, and he was the last fig standing in the loss.
