He is the Amazing Forktongue, with the ability to make people feel shame for being jerks with a mere flick of his tongue! Mwa ha ha!
And, I agree. Jason could still be alive, as could Deathstrike and others from previous series. Remember the old adage. In the world of comic books, "Only Bucky dies forever." hehe
...the kid with the forked tongue was called Artie several times during the movie. In the comics Artie was a Morlock, one of the mutants living in the sewers under New York. He had the power to "Leech" powers from mutants, in effect "depowering" them.

Actually, that is a different guy, named Leech. He was green. Artie is pinkish with a wierd head and bulgy eyes, who can project images of your thoughts, like accessing your dreams. They got to be friends.

I loved the "sissy" reference they put in the movie for Cyclops. When they got in his car and NSYNC was playing
I thought this movie was good all the way up to about the last 15-20 minutes, then it was just uneventful. I think I was expecting a little too much or something...like possibly another big bad guy?? But, nooo, we get Magneto and Mystique *cough* again. Lady Deathstrike was cool, I'll give her that, but she doesn't exactly jump off the charts in my mind when I think of X-Men baddies. There's a ton of other baddies that could've been in this movie. I AM glad they haven't tried to use every bad guy possible in one or two movies, like Carpmaker did in those last two Batman movies
