So i was playing in a nice free for all earlier this week and we came across a question we were hedged on. two agreed that it should work and two that it doesnt.

In the situation it was that a character with Leap/climb wanted to attack someone who was elevated but based by another figure would it work?

A and C are on one team, C is elevated, and B has leap/climb wanting to target C with CCE, can the attack be made?


Also what is the current rule for Suicide Squad members with healing. mainly can a friendly push to KO and ones with the team ability heal or does the friendly have to be KOed by enimies?

The attack can be made. Suicide squad does include suicides.

There is a problem with the attack mentioned. Leap/Climb states "When you give this character a Close Combat Action, it can target a character regardless of it's elevation.". So you can punch an opposing figure which is on a different elevation. Unfortunately Close Combat Expert requires a Power Action that grants a Close Combat Attack. So no using CCE with L/C to hit a figure on another elevation. Being adjacent to enemy figures on your elevation has no effect as you are making a close combat attack and not a ranged combat attack.

L/C with CCE = Mr. Pilkington is correct (now if you had an SP with Charge, leap up and punch away!)

L/C with Charge as a SP (who has it?) would not allow you to breakaway automatically.

Charge is a power action, you'd still have to roll for breakaway.

If you wanted to move with the charge you'd need to breakaway, yes, but since charge grants a close combat action you could charge up to a building and then punch the person on the roof. Most folks won't expect that.

Flurry
Quake
Exploit Weakness
B/C/F

The new Doc Oc has interesting possibilities give his L/C and SP. I want to set up quaking a figure on the corner of the building off the roof using L/C sometime. That would be a memorable game!
