THIS IS A JOB FOR SUPERMAN!: Superman can use Charge. When Superman is not carrying an object or a character, do not halve his speed value when he uses Charge. Superman may not pick up objects or characters when using Charge.
I agree it would invalidate his full speed charge but as long as he picks the object up on his last turn he should still be able to half range charge.
This is how i see it
Superman moves his full range and picks up an object. Next turn he charges half range and attacks. He just can not charge his full or half range and use an object if he did not start the turn holding it.
I would agree with this. He can use regular charge if he's already carrying an object, but to use the full-movement charge, he can't carry anything. To use Charge at all, he can't carry a figure and he can't pick up an object on that movement.
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
Thats actually not true Vamroc. I am holding his card right here and it states "Superman can use charge." as the first sentence. Only when he is not carrying a character or an object can he charge his full wing speed. If he just uses regular charge, which this power also permits, and halves his movement he can indeed charge with an object or pick one up along the way if he only moves 5 spaces.
In my experience the best way to defeat this Superman is with outwit, (thwart if supes has fortitude on him which, if your friend is smart he will), and contingency plan is very helpful as well. When Supes is on his first click do anything in your power to avoid knocking him 3 clicks in. This puts him on his 20 dv with invuln 10 hss 11 av and 4 damage with leading the attack still. Mephisto would actually be pretty effective against Supes in a 600 point game using his dark bargain. Incap is very effective against Supes as if he cant move he cant hide and he cant hurt you.
As someone who loves playing E-2 Supes when the game calls for it let me give you this piece of advice: if you can outwit Supes he will fall apart. Finesse teams are very effective against Supes. Get two or 3 outwitters with thwart and perplex (strange for the +2/-2 perplex) to take down his av because you can use contingency plan to bring up your av.
Good luck against Supes!
Mephisto? Seriously? E-2 has built in Willpower via the Trait. All the Mystics damage is going to do is get him to his 20DV and HSS click quicker.

Case closed he may not carry objects or people when he uses charge normal or otherwise end of argument when Superman picks up an object he can't charge because HE HAS AN OBJECT and can't carry an object when he USES CHARGE. This is why I brought up Perplex it adds to damage plus it gives the benefit of staying untill your next turn hey look I've got a 7 damage with Flurry and ICWO will give me 8. He can move from figure to figure splattering everyone in his path and then the rest of the team plays janitor.

You are wrong. He cannot PICK UP objects. (Picking up an object is different than carrying one.) If he has an object already, there is nothing to prevent him from Charging (normal) and using it.

Great Cesar's ghost your right usually that's the approach Superman Charges picks up the object and CARRIES it for the attack. But if he just picks up an Object and ends his turn Superman can indeed use Charge as normal the next round.
