ok i somewhat know how the damage works. if ally (a) has 3atk and 3 health while ally (b) has 2 atk and 3 health, both melee allies, when they battle ally (b) would die while ally (a) would have 1 health left. my question is this
Does the same principle apply to other types of allies? (Example: Fire ally vs Melee or Ice ally vs range)
just seems odd that the only way offence gets damage if its melee taking on melee. At the same time it dont make sense for a ranged ally to take damage for attaking a warrior. (which I don't believe is the case)
any input would be apreciated.

FYI Ally (a) would still have 3 health. It would just have 2 damage on it.
This is important for other reasons such as referencing.
