Okay, so what is it now? THREE laps and counting...? ROTFL!
I completely understand the wall question, thanks to your excellent explanation(s ).
How about a square of BLOCKING terrain that they would change to hindering?
I doubt that would even come into play as a square of blocking usually doesn't impede movement.
By this, I mean:
Code:
BB
BB
D
B is blocking, D is Dude (Power Man & Iron Fist duo). They move to:
Code:
BB
BB
D
Then break the bottom right corner:
Code:
BB
BH
D
So, usually blocking terrain wouldn't even have any effect as you only put the Hindering Terrain marker in the singular square.

Well, it only comes into play if they want to move through it...then I believe it becomes HT immediately and they would have to stop once they entered it...
Well, I AM pretty awesome.
An understanding of the law of large numbers leads to a realization that what appear to be fantastic improbabilities are not remarkable at all but, merely to be expected.

They would. It's different than breaking a wall. Besides, who's going to "enter" a single square of hindering if they wish to continue movement? Unless it's Ms. Marvell (Skrull) attempting to create a square of hindering for a hiding spot.

PM&IF trying to bust through the walls of the Prison Map...
Good one.
They'd bust the outer wall first, not be impeded by the newly created terrain, bust a square of blocking, get into it then bust one more square of blocking, but stop right there.

Or PM&IF breaking through the two-square thick blocking terrain on the Carnival Grounds map... That was actually the impetus of the original question, WAAAAAY back in post # 1... lol I just didn't phrase it as such (BAD moneypenny! *slaps own hand*)
So I guess we're all in agreement, then? That they'd have to stop if they're passing through hindering terrain just created by their 'Wallbuster' SP (which is pretty much just when they destroy blocking terrain, not a wall, as so patiently explained by ZZZ), unless they were outfitted with 'Unstoppable'...
Is that a pretty accurate summation?
If so, then THANK YOU all for your help!
If not, then where do I have it wrong?
Be well,
-jason

I belive that is correct. It seems that it is like the non-flying HSS figure that has to attack during movement. Since the movement is ended when they enter the HT they just created, it is no longer during movement so the action would end and they would be unable to break the second portion of blocking terrain.
...BB...X
move
...BBX...
attack
...B*X...
move again
...BX...
movement ended because you just entered HT...it is no longer during movement so the second part of the Blocking Terrain can't be busted...
