Provided the character has stealth on their dial at the time of a (close combat) attack, is the ambush feat compatible, in terms of charge, transporter move+attack, hypersonic speed?
The character gets +2 to its attack value when it makes a close combat attack while occupying hindering terrain. After the attack resolves, the character's Stealth is countered until the beginning of your next turn.
Since it isn't a power action to use the feat, I'd say yes.

Since the feat can be used any time the figure makes a close combat attack it is compatible with pretty much any power (as long as it is close combat). Had it said "close combat action" instead it would only have worked with Charge, not HSS or the move and attack ability.
Also note that the effect is limited to a single attack - while you can use Ambush on say Cloak&Dagger or si elektra you can only get the bonus to one attack out of a Flurry/Duo attack pair.

So, this would mean that a figure like the Monitor from Crisis would be able to get the +2 attack bonus from Ambush and still have stealth? I can see it both ways, but I feel like my interpretation is correct. The card doesn't say that you have to counter Stealth in order to gain the +2 to attack, only that Stealth being countered is a result of using the feat. However, because Monitor has the Quintessence TA, his powers can't be countered, so Stealth would remain even after the use of the feat.

Yes, he gets the bonus without the drawback thanks to his TA.
Rip Hunter is an Ambusher's best friend...
He has an SP which grants him the use of Stealth, but he doesn't have the actual Stealth power. IE, the power is there sufficiently to activate the bonus, but the card does not counter Shadowy Attack.
Harupa: would this question be worth dropping on the WK rules forum?
Quebbster: I figured posting the text of the feat here was unnecessary since we have the all-knowing,singing,and dancing unit/BFC/feat tool on that upper bar.

So, does this mean it is not possible to counter part of a special power?

To be techinical, it is a result of not being able to counter part of a special power.
For example, say that Giant Man had a special power Crazy Rage: "Giant Man can Battle Fury and Perplex" You can only Outwit Crazy Rage, not just Perplex.

The way i see it, by posting the text you save yourself some time and everyone else some effort - it is a lot easier to answer a question when you don't have to dig up the relevant text yourself, which means you will probably get your answer faster.
