so fortitude says that you can't outwit the character, so i was wondering would that also block TA's from being outwitted as well? mostly from skrull yellowjacket, since there's a person at our events that always plays him on his team... but his ability says

TRAITOR: Yellowjacket can use Outwit. He can use it normally, or he can choose a team ability possessed by an opposing character 6 or fewer squares away to which he can draw a clear line of fire and counter that team ability on all opposing characters.

but it says counter the team ability, so could he still counter my doom's mystics when he has fortitude since it doesn't say it is being outwitted but rather countered, or am i just reading too much into things?

"Members of this team do not take pushing damage and their powers cannot be countered. This team ability cannot be copied by wild card team abilities."

So, i believe TA's aren't a power correct?, thus, i believe you could counter their TA's, unless theres a FAQ saying TA's are powers...

but fortitude says they can't be outwitted :-s nothing about powers not being countered...but the ability specifies that it counters not outwits :-s so it's a tad confusing

fortitude says:

"The character ignores other characters' Exploit Weakness. Outwit can't be used by other characters to counter the character's powers."

Since its powers, again, you can outwit TA's, since TA's, duo's, transporter's, flight symbols aren't a power, I'm guessing you can outwit the TA, etc.

Outwit counters, and Traitor counters so it has no effect on Power Cosmic
figs. To date nothing can get rid of Power Cosmic except Disbanded.

Traitor will work against a figure with Fortitude, for the reasons stated above.

Dissent (a feat allowing TA's to be countered) will not work. The reason is that Dissent counters a team ability as if it was a power. Since for the purposes of Dissent, the TA is a power, the TA is protected by Fortitude.

Traitor and dissent are two completely different things, worded two completely different ways.

If I have fortitude, can my indomitable be outwitted? I'd assume so. If so, why can't my team ability be countered?

I was just adding a comment on a similar, but different mechanic. (I could easily see someone getting confused and thinking that if Traitor can do it, Dissent could, too.)
