I've been using the username Charlatan on a couple of message boards for almost 2 years now. The name originated from a villian I made in the Ravenloft D&D setting, a shapchanging wizard/rogue who dressed like a stereotypical stage magician in tuxedo and tophat.

When I joined HCrealms, I chose the Batman Enemy icon because I felt that as a comic book character, "I" would fit in best as a member of that paticular rogue's gallery.

Now, low and behold, I am looking through a copy of Wizard magazine, only to discover the a new villian Called The Charlatan has appeared in Detective Comics! Even though I know nothing else about the character, and he may not be anything like the one I made up, it still weirded me out somewhat.

The world is a strange place....

I beleive that's probably the Actor/disguise artist that been the trying to kill all of batman's rogues

haven't heard him called by that name but it sure does fit him
