I assume you're talking about King and Queen. You can't use Duo Attack and Mind Control together so you can't use Compel with Duo Attack either.
If you're talking about using Compel to target a friendly character that has the Duo Attack ability then the Duo Attack character would only take 1 click of unavoidable damage. The part of Compel that says, "after the action is resolved deal 1 unavoidable damage to the target" refers to the character using Mind Control, not the Duo Attack character. When the Mind Control action has resolved, the Duo Attack character takes 1 unavoidable damage.

Um, as you go on to say in the next sentence, the Duo Attacker is the one who gets the damage from the card, not the MCer.
To clarify, the "action" which resolves is the free power action given to the Duo figure. That action resolves after both attacks are complete, so it takes just one damage.

I was talking about the "after the action is resolved" part when I said "refers to the character using Mind Control". I see where there might have been confusion there.
I have a Compel question that I think I know the answer for but would like verification, please.
Figure A Perplexes his attack and Attacks an opposing figure. (Now he is eligible for Compel)
Figure B 'Compels' Figure A.
Can Figure A use Perplex again since Compel allows another the Character to break the rule against being Actioned twice in one turn?
Perplex/Outwit states that it can be used Once during your turn, would Compel allow you take the same free action twice?
PERPLEX Once during your turn (but not during another action), as a free action this character
modifies by +1 or –1 any combat value (including range) of a target character until the beginning of your
next turn (it can target itself). A character using this power must be within 10 squares of the target
and have a clear line of fire to the target. This effect ends immediately if this character loses Perplex or is
defeated, or when the target is damaged or healed.
OUTWIT Once during your turn (but not during another action), as a free action this character
counters a power or an ability (other than a team ability) possessed by a single target opposing character.
Treat the target as if it does not have the countered power or ability, which remains countered until
the beginning of your next turn. A character using this power must be within 10 squares of the target and
have a clear line of fire to the target. If this character loses Outwit or is defeated, the countered power or
ability returns immediately.
COMPEL
Cost: 15
Prerequisite: Mind Control
Choose a character. When the character uses Mind Control, it can target a single friendly character that has already been given an action this turn. If the attack succeeds, after the action is resolved deal 1 unavoidable damage to the target.
Availability: Origin F008
Clarifications:
• The figure that is the target of the mind control must have taken a tokenable action this turn in order for it to be a target. Free actions would not qualify.
• A character with multiple targets cannot target any opposing figures when attempting to Compel a friendly figure. It may only target a single friendly character.

You COULD use Perplex again with the Compelled figure, but that use of Perplex IS the action granted by the Compel.
You'd get this...
Figure A Perplexes his attack and Attacks an opposing figure. (Now he is eligible for Compel)
Figure B 'Compels' Figure A.
Figure A Perplexes his attack. The Compel is over. Figure A takes his damage. The Perplex goes away. (Now, you could have Figure A Perplex up someone else's values, but if the damage causes Perplex to be lost, that sucks.)
How does Compel allow for Perplex to be used twice? It says "PERPLEX Once during your turn (but not during another action)..." I get everything else that Compel allows, but how does it allow another use of something that is Once per turn. I cannot make that leap of logic.

Because basically Mind Control makes up its own rules.

MC has many undocumented exceptions to it. (My pet peeve)
One of them is that it is basically like a reset button.
I could MC your Batman 3 times and use his Outwit three times.
I'm curious as to why you can't accept the fact that you can use MC to Perplex twice, but you seem to be fine with the fact that it allows Perplex to be used at all.

You balk at the phrase "Once during your turn" but have no problem with the one that says "but not during another action." If you use Perplex during an MC, you are using it during another action.
I like Quebbster's answer better but I definitely agree w/ Harpua's pet peeve on MC. Hopefully this power will get a logical re-work with the next starter release in 2009.
I understand that you can use Perplex with a figure that has been mind controlled and that free action is its action.
I understand how the MC of an opposing figure 3 seperate times would work with Outwit since it is moving back and forth between sides.
I guess I am having an issue with Compel since the figure never changes sides and that MC resets that character. I too would love to see those unwritten rules clarified.
I am trying to make sense of something that is not logical when looking at the printed rules, etc...
Has Norm ruled on this somewhere, I could not find anything similar in either forum? He did and I found it. I was just searching wrong.
Thanks for taking the time to explain.

Basically, Compel is MC. The rules you state have nothing to do with changing sides. The simple act of being inside an MC is what allows them.
