AQUATIC SCOUT: Triton can use Charge. When Triton occupies water terrain, any line of fire drawn to him that crosses any square of that water terrain is treated as though it crosses blocking terrain.
It's been interpreted weirdly by a player so I'd like some precisions :
- "drawn" to him doesn't include drawn "through him", right ? What I mean is : if someone hides behind Triton, but is shot from above, are the squares of water terrain in front of Triton considered blocking ? As in the example below
R (rooftop shooter)
x
x
W (water)
T (Triton)
K (Karnak)
Can the rooftop shooter see Karnak ?
Thank you to answer this, and if it comes from a judge it is even better.

Yes it seems to me that the key is that the shooter is on the roof and can see over Triton. If the shooter were on the ground, obviously Triton would block LOS because you generally cannot see through a figure, stealth or no stealth.

Did you get any official confirmation of this (in tournament for exemple) ? I need to be sure before posting on french forum.
There's really no need for an official ruling: It works exactly the same way with Stealth and similar abilities. You can fire over Stealthed figures as much as you want.
