He was perfect to quickly (and freely, given the Avengers TA) run across the board to base the opposing support figures, then push to cripple the medic/perplexer/outwitter/whatever. He'd almost always die shortly thereafter, but he'd done his job. He's obsolete nowadays, but back then I loved Quicksilver.

Yeah Quicksilver was a great and inexpensive figure in the early days. Similar to the Exp Whirlwind with his Sinister TA, great WC abuse there with Taskmaster.
WizKids GamePlay, "You can only play our game if you buy the new stuff. Those old figures are dirty and obsolete."

Yeah, I left Quicksilver off in favor of Whirlwind. I feel that Quicksilver's low damage makes him a tough sell in today's environment, especially with the lack of dedicated medics these days.
I got all the way to the end of the article and someone said what I was going to say. My V never missed.

He's already trapped in a game he didn't create, the least you could do is mention Howard the Duck. He is one of my favorites. I use him in every army I build. Flurry/Willpower/Perplex is nothing to sneeze at and has been used quite effectively. I once played a 700 point game in which my army consisted of 20 Howard the Ducks. With all that Flurry/Willpower/Perplex it was every bit as nasty has an army with a bunch of uber figures.

wow! i'm impressed you actually HAD 20 Howard the Ducks!
another overlooked front loaded Flurry cheap fig is V Judge Hershey.
With the 2000 AD TA (waiting to be Wilcarded) she can have 11 AV with her front-loaded flurry 2 Dmg for 56 pts. The 6 range and Incap are added bonuses
With all do respect we have forgotten one extremely cool figure. Chase figure 120 point Batman from AA. This Batman is a great piece with charge and flurry, but stick a lunge feet card on him and he becomes extremely vositile in the flurry department with a charge of 7 spaces (that's starting the charge in or out of hindering). With the ability to get close enough to pull it off with his free smoke cloud ability he is arguably in the top 5 (if not top 3) best flurriers in the business.

I don't have him, but he indeed seems sweet in that regard, but he has been mentioned more than once earlier in the thread I believe.
