Capture Trait: Who should have had it in hindsight?
So, with SI/FF Starter, they made the capture ability that Sentinels and Sinestro had as a Trait. With SI, they gave it to Captain Mar-Vell as part of his power on his first click.
Who else should have had it as a trait or part of a special power? I would limit it to Avengers/LOSH and forward where we started getting cards and special powers.
Top of my list is Lobo from JL. I think this would have made him a more useful figure.
Alternate Team Ability for the Green Lantern. Maybe have it where if a Green Lantern figure with this team ability makes a capture attack, place two action tokens on them. (Would take push damage if they didn't have Indomitable or Willpower, could not do it if they already have 1 token on them)
SI Mephisto (He's going for your soul)
~maybe~
Manhunter (Robots)
Av Guardsman
SI Spider-Slayer
Not sure if generics should get it, but I think this would be an ability that would make some characters worth playing just to have it.
OK, so, should this have been in Dreams and Desires or General discussion?
Probably Dreams and Desires, sure. I mean, if you have a question about the way Capture works or what exactly it does for your team, this is definitely the place. But if all you want to know is who other people think should maybe have access to this ability, that doesn't really fall into the 'Rules of Combat' wheelhouse

Great suggestions. I am really surprized that this very impressive and extensive list does not contain any versions of Wonder Woman. Ever watch the TV serries? Yeah I know... That statement shows my age and that I watched carppy shows growing up! But yeah, WonderWoman should be able to capture enemies. What do you think?
I'm thinking more of figures who would bring the captured figure back to "lockup".
Agreed. I see a difference between capture and incarcerate (which is really what we have in the Capture ability) and just immobilize or imprison. The Sentinel robots were gathering up mutants. The Sinestro Construct? I'm not sure why it would other than DC needing something like what Marvel got, game-wise.
I can definitely see bounty hunter and police force characters getting it. Heck, I could even see generic cops having it, but with a very short dial and not much for defense. Handcuffs can work.
