Okay. I just wanna know if I put ambidextrious on AA Robin, would he benefit from his special smoke cloud power?
TEAR GAS GRENADE: Robin can use Smoke Cloud. When Robin uses Smoke Cloud, after he places all hindering terrain markers he can immediately use Incapacitate as a free action but can attack only a single opposing character occupying a square containing a hindering terrain marker he placed that turn; ignore the effects of hindering terrain on the attack.
Since it says only a single character, this power can only affect one person even if he has 2 targets, right?
My gut feeling is that you are correct, because Smoke Cloud is unaffected by number of targets:

This character must have a clear line of fire to at least one of the hindering terrain markers. These markers can’t be put on blocking terrain but can be put in hindering terrain or in squares occupied by characters. These terrain markers remain until the beginning of your next turn or until this power is countered or lost.
And also, his special power states explicitly that it targets a single character. So my guess would be that he's out of luck when it comes to Ambidextrous.
I would rule that the single still applies even if he has two bolts.

Yes it can, but {unfortunately} you cannot gain benefits doing this with one use of smoke cloud.
For example, placing 4 smoke tokens in one square with one Toro only counts as 1 token for purposes of his power. Two Toros, however, could place their tokens on top of one another and hey would count.

Pardon my stupidity, but i don't understand.
If 1 toro putting tokens in the same square wouldn't activate the power since it counts as 1, why would 2 toros make a difference (As you seem to be saying this actually makes his special work)?

"#021 Toro
Firewall: Toro can use Smoke Cloud. If all four hindering
terrain markers placed by Toro using Smoke Cloud are
placed adjacent to an opposing character, deal that
character 1 damage."
What I'm saying is that there are two Toros (A & B).
A puts all four squares of smoke into 1 square.
A person might want to argue that this satisfies his power, but the ruling is that it only counts as 1. (IE all four are not considered to be adjacent to the guy.)
But if Toro A puts a diamond around a guy...

S O S
. S .
Toro B can put smoke into those same squares and it will count.
EDIT: As for the "why's" don't ask me. That's what GD said. I personally disagree with that ruling.
The PAC says that for Smoke Cloud: each hindering terrain marker must be placed adjacent to another hindering terrain marker created by this character.
Also I believe the rule is that a square is not adjacent to itself. That's why you cannot use nanobots on an object in the same square as the fig with the feat.
So how can you put all four hindering terrain tokens in the same square if none of those tokens would be adjacent to any other tokens placed by this figure, which is required by the wording of the power.
Also how does stacking the smoke cloud from two different figures on top of each other double the effect. Are you talking about the hindering terrain bonus to defense values?

Totally correct. However, that wasn't ruled until Mutations and Monsters, 6 months after Toro was released in Avengers.

You can't, I guess. However, you could alternate between two adjacent squares, placing Smoke marker 1 and 3 in the same square and 2 and 4 in the same square.

Since Toro's SP lets him deal damage with his Smoke Cloud, stacked Smoke Cloud tokens will deal more damage.
