I tried searching for this in the players guide and using the search function, but I don't know exactly what I'm looking for with this question.
1) Does the Batman Ally TA qualify for feats that require Stealth as a prereq?
I think yes because it is worded similar to special powers that grant the yes of stealth.
2) If "Yes" to #1 and I have a wildcard that has Stealth on its dial, and I assign a feat that requires Stealth as a prereq, can I use the feat if Stealth is not showing as long as I am copying the Batman Ally TA?
In case you were wondering, this is another "What feats can I pile on Deathsroke to maximize his power" thread.
~2700 posts and you don't know the answer is "no"?
First of all, that was a little uncalled for.

hope the bolded part helps us see that the TA does not possess stealth therefor can not be used for feats
The part that is confusing me on this is that most special powers are worded the exact same way but they still qualify. It says he can use Stealth, just like AA Robin can use Smoke Cloud and still be assigned Flashbang and hot Venom can use Leap Climb and can still be assigned Lunge and Vault.
I am not saying that a Batman Ally TA should be allowed as a prereq, but that evidence isn't enough.
how to use the feat.
Assigning feats. If a feat requires you to choose a character or
characters on your force when assigning the feat, all chosen characters must
meet the prerequisites, and you must make the choice when building your
force; only the chosen characters will be able to use the feat during the
game. When you assign a feat to a character, you must also include the
point value of the feat in the point total of your force.
In order to be assigned a feat, a character must meet its prerequisites.
A prerequisite power or combat value does not need to be visible on a
character’s starting click for the character to be assigned the feat, but the
character’s combat dial must be able to turn so that all power and combat
value prerequisites for the feat are visible through the stat slot at the same
time.
If a character can use a power or ability via a special power or ability,
it can be assigned a feat with that power or ability as a prerequisite, but
it must be able to use the power or ability on its own. Being able to use
another character’s team ability (as wild cards can do) or power (as with
the special power Power Drain, which allows a character to use another
character’s powers) does not satisfy the prerequisites for a feat
No where there does it say that TA's meet the pre-req for feats.
in the PG it was errated to add in traits.

I apologize. I didn't mean it in a mean way, I was just a little surprised by it and meant it in a kind of snarky funny way. I had no mal intent. Sorry again.

I haven't even looked into this issue since they changed the wording of the Batman Ally TA, but I knew that you couldn't use it as Stealth before the rule change, and I couldn't find any recent threads about it.

Basically a character must posses a power to qualify for the feat. Special powers, as specifically stated, may meet the prerequisites for feats.
Before the FF reword special powers and TAs did not meet the power prerequisites. After the reword in FF special powers were allowed, but no consideration is given to TAs.

just for the sake of arguement, prereq means a character has to either possess or have the power or ability. yes batman ally is a "team ability" that allows you to use stealth. The stealth itself is what the character can use that is provided through the "team ability" therefor stealth is not an ability the character possess or has, just a perk given to the character via the TA.
now if I may ask that the mighty citrus tints shine on in.

This is what I keep getting stuck on (from page 18 of the rulebook):
Quote
Team abilities are special abilities a character can use due to its alliance with a team or an affiliated group.
Can someone explain how a character that can use stealth from a Team Ability that the rulebook calls a "special ability" can't use a feat that requires stealth as a prereq?

I am truly confused by this
A feat's prereq is met with a power or ability a character possesses or has, a feat's prereq can not be filled with a "special ability" it has to be a power or ability.
well, you have just touched on my personal point about Legendary Day BFC...it says abilities may not be countered, definition of powers says that they are special ABILITIES, but they are not covered by the BFC, therefore it is almost useless and not as fun as it should be. So, as I agree with your reasoning Chi, the Ra and RDs have spoken, and just accept it.
I did.
"If a character can use a power or ability via a special power or ability, it can be assigned a feat with that power or ability as a prerequisite, but it must be able to use the power or ability on its own."
...totally allows you to use team abilities to meet feat prerequisites.
Unfortunately, those aren't the rules anymore, so TA's no longer apply
From the PG: "Page 19, the third paragraph of Assigning feats begins: 'If a character can use a power or ability via a special power or trait, it can be assigned a feat…'"
Notice that "ability" has been replaced with "trait" in the highlight.
