I'm not a huge history buff as far as comics go (or in general I guess)...but DC is legitimately 75, correct?
AFAIK, yes.
Interesting fun fact: several years ago DC announced at SDCC that the owner of my Venue has everything that DC has ever printed.
Let me repeat that: EVERYTHING DC HAS EVER PRINTED.
When DC prints those Archive Editions, they have to go into her collection for some of the issues. You can actually see her name in the credits portion of the Archive Editions.
That's right, she has more of DC's stuff than DC. LOL

Yeah, they had some neat covers and placed a "Marvel 25th" logo in all of their character boxes on the covers of their books that year. It was pretty neat (you know, when you're 11 stuff like that's pretty neat).

That's pretty sweet! Has she been able to keep up with it?

'But hang in there 11 year old brojase....girls are just around the corner...well, for most 11 year old boys, anyways. For you? I'm not really sure...'

Yeah, I'd say that's 90% of the reason she owns a comic book store.

Wow, have Chase figs ever gone that high? Even the Zombies when they first hit the streets? I remember Z Hulk at $125, but did any of these hit the $300 mark?
Man, we are a crazy bunch of consumers!
An E-2 Superman went for $500 early on.
Of course that was Superman who has a heck of a bigger following than these two.
I think with chases like Spider-Woman and Invisible Woman dropping into the 30-50 dollar range people will be more careful. I'd bet $75-$100 right now before dipping from there as more become available.
But I generally devalue everything so who knows?
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
So I was looking at the pictures, and I noticed that the quality in the statues have gone up. Hal, Hope Flash and Mera all look amazing! It could be the view, but the figures not only look better built but way more detailed! Guess I am late to the party, but wow!
On a side note, after seeing Black Cat I am definitely excited about this set again. The Spider-man animated series from the 90's was my favorite show growing up, so maybe this new set will make me a Spidey fan again.
The 2 Chases were made by digital sculpt and both look great (in the pictures, anyway). The paint jobs are weak so we can expect the Starter set to have amazing sculpts marred by mediocre painting.

Wow, that is amazing!
Where is your venue?
