I feel like anything you do today with any level of seriousness will not be taken seriously at all. That sentence reads really badly.....eh, #### it.

Why do we need a chart? All we have to remember is that a Close Combat/Ranged Combat Action is an action that results in a Close Combat/Ranged Combat Attack, and if some power needs a Close Combat/Ranged Combat Action to activate, it will not active by a Close Combat/Ranged Combat Attack granted by a Power/Free Action. That isn't confusing at all!!

That's pretty accurate. I think if you say it without the repetitive "Close Combat/Ranged Combat" phrase, it actually even reads well, too (with some small edits):
