Correct me if I'm wrong, but in Modern Format, aren't sets from before Avengers retired? So it shouldn't matter that Thunderbolts is an ATA, because feats aren't "evergreen".
To argue with a person who has renounced the use of reason is like administering medicine to the dead.

I think that the "All" in the article probably means, well, all of them.

Except, going by the info in the blog, ATAs aren't just feats any more... they are their own thing and the little table in the blog stated that ALL ATAs would be in the modern format.
*groan* if we're going to go into ATA's not being "feats" anymore, then perhaps the geniuses at NECA should ahve decided to use a different color printing for ATA cards? that way, legitimately, they are NOT feats anymore. permitting T-bolts to hang around is one thing, but I'm frankly sick and tired of seeing ATA FF teams roam around and generally leave me rolling my eyes and wishing that in fact, I had just not bothered to play the individual playing that team. Rather than doing this whole "all ata's are still useable" line, why not just go with the feats ruling, change the coloration for the HoT and other "legal by set" ATA's and be rid of the old annoyances? it gives a chance in fact FOR revising them by that very notion... so that your cap, scarlet witch, etc CAN'T go Bat/Ultimates/Mystics or whatnot... but your potentially very sneaky Moonstone, or perhaps fast and loose Hawkeye can.
"A" is "A". And no matter what universe he's from, Luthor... is Luthor.

Considering that we have no idea how this is really going to work beyond what was stated in the blog post, don't you think it is a little early to go all negative on us?
Heaven forbid we give this a honest try first before complaining about it
i can understand that people are unset that ATA's may still be able to be used in the new format...........but if it's part of the game there is no use complaining about it, if you don't like it don't play, if your not a fan of ATA's don't use them, but anyone that has played for a while know that there is always someone that is going to make the "cheese" ( i hate that term if it's in the rules it can be use that's just the way it is ) team, either put up with it or don't play, i'm tired of hearing about it.
