The way the power is worded, it says "He can use Pulse Wave as if he had a range of 8." Now this may end up being obvious, but I thought I pose the question anyway. Does the half range rule for Pulse Wave still apply here, or was it meant to be a full 8 range Pulse Wave ability?

"As if his range is 8" means before using Pulse Wave, so the PW is half that which = 4
