So I have heard that only judges from this set's OP kit get the AE LE figs and that NECA?/WIZKIDS is going to send their judge support sepeartly. I was wondering if this is true? It would explain why there is only 2 of each lantern objects and only 3 of each of the alternate team abilty cards. Please let me know if you guys have heard anything about this and thanks in advance.
The recommendations from WizKids outlines use of all 54 prizes (including 10 maps) over suggested 11 events, with prizes for 1st, 2nd, Fellowship and Judge. The recommendations do not give any one place everything, although 1st is awarded everything except a map. Using the recommended practice neither the judge nor felwoship are assigned al of the prizes over the run of events.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

There are no judges anymore. How can NECA send prizes out to judges if it doesn't know who they are?
Furthermore, none of the LE AEs have any power which would allow them to transform into an LE hero.
A little examination of available facts should tell you that this information is false.

This is all pure rumor with absolutely no basis in any official communication from WK.
My advice? Disregard it quickly.

As a Judge, how do I report my results and collect the prize kit?
I'm not a venue, so if my venue has received instructions, they haven't passed them on to me.

You don't. Because;
1) The prize kit had to be ordered & paid for though D/A.
Each store was limited to how many they could order based on total # of cases ordered.
How they hand out prizes/or what exactly they do with the content is then completely up to them. WK/Necca has no hand in it.
2) You might call yourself a judge. But you're not. No one is. Because there are no official judges anymore.

This is completely false!
I'm a judge, and I'm looking at the official DC HeroeClix The Brave and the Bold Organized Play Instruction Sheet, which I'd scan if I had time, but I'm about to leave to run a tournament.
WizKids gives you suggestions on the prize support, and they lay it out like this as their suggestion.
Prize support is for 10 weeks.
There are four categories of for prizes: 1st Place, 2nd Place, Fellowship Award, and Judge Award.
(So to those people saying there are no judges or no judge prizes don't know what they are talking about). In the new WizKid's eyes, if you run tournaments at a venue, you are a judge. There is no longer a need to sign up to become a judge, just run events at a venue, and you are a judge / envoy (Which the sheet also clearly states.)
The Judges prize support is one of each object, 2 maps, and 4 of the LE figures (which #102 there are two copies for the judge), and one each for the feat cards (4 total).
However, this is only their suggested use, and they clearly state that you can award the prizes anyway you see fit.
For example, the only item I want is just one map. The other 12 items that they suggest I use for my Judge Award I'm putting back in the pot so I can award a 3rd Place prize as well, as well as extend the 10 week prize support period to 13 or 14 weeks.
If anybody really wants to see the actual document, I can scan it this weekend and post it on my HeroClix / Stark Tower website as a .pdf file.
You're both right and wrong in the same statement.
The last sentence -- there are no official Judges -- is accurate. WK has not resumed authorizing official Judges.
The role, however, still exists. "Judge" still refers to the person responsible for managing HeroClix tournaments at a venue.
And in that, Judges remain very much alive.

To back up your statement, the official BatB prize support sheet gives this advice to the venues...
Quote
Events do not need to be recorded or reported, and while you are not (emphasis theirs) required to have an envoy (judge) present at your events, we invite you to seek the help of an envoy to make sure your events are a success.
So, yes, there are still judges. They just don't have to 'officially' be sponsored like they were in days past. If you have a venue in your town and they don't run tourneys, you can walk right in the door and ask them to be their HeroClix judge, and if they agree, you are a judge / envoy. It's the simple, it's totally grassroots.
It is true that there is no longer a structure for approving official judges/envoys. It is also true that a venue may run events as they please, with whatever support they choose to use. However, I believe the intent of this statement
"...we invite you to seek the help of an envoy to make sure your events are a success."
is to encourage venues to utilize one of the judges approved by WizKids in the past: someone who in theory is already experienced with managing HeroClix events and so has skills useful in making events successful. There may be a valid argument that if the store owner taps a clerk on the shoulder and says "go run those events" you could/should call that clerk a judge. That would not, however, make him/her an envoy.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
