Here's something I read and I don't remember it being this way before...
Under immunity:
"characters that have not been given an action or moved cannot be targeted..."
Does this mean that if you, say, use TK to move out someone on your first turn, you can be attacked? It used to be as long as you hadn't moved from your original spot you were immune.
Yeah. The book is a scan, and I couldn't copy text from the pdf, and I'm lazy so...
The other funny thing is, the way it reads EXPLICITLY, *any* action means you are not immune anymore. Meaning you can sit and outwit and be susceptible.

Isn't that going to be a pretty short map if your opponent is within outwit range of our starting area but hasn't taken his turn yet (because otherwise your first turn immunity wouldn't be protecting you anyway)?

Hmmm good point. Batman Alpha map maybe?
So maybe not outwit, but there could be all kinds of free actions I can't think of that would count. Perplexing up someone's movement? Especially when you consider special powers.

Not everyone plays your little pansy two-player games.
From corner to corner, the starting area to either side is within 10 squares.
The first turn immunity rule, iirc, has been one of the biggest flip flops from rulebook to rulebook. It has been pretty consistent for the last few starters, but this change doesn't surprise me, and I won't be surprised if they change it back with the next Marvel rulebook.
