The most dangerous/useful of any Warriors Three theme team. If he were exactly 100pts you could get away with a team of Fandrals to meet the W3 trait requirement.
The outwit give him a "special touch" from the other the two warriors. He is very efective and i really like the flurry, but if he would have charge will be a perfect soldier. An excellent investment for 100 points.
A decent piece, although that opening click of outwit is what'll get him onto asgardian teams- they've got plenty of better pieces for combat. He'll shine on warriors three teams, his dial is well balanced to match up with the others.
Lunge actually has no such prerequisites you sir were probably thinking of pounce
The prerequisites for Lunge reads: "Prerequisites: Close Combat Expert or Leap/Climb." Therefore, you can use Lunge on him because of his special power.
Also, Lunge has no prerequisite for damage. Like I already quoted, all you need is Close Combat Expert or Leap/Climb. So, in conclusion, you can put Lunge on him.
A strong figure with or without the other Warriors Three providing him with an AV boost, Fandral's as-is combat values are decent and stable for the cost. 3 clicks of 3DaV flurry at top dial, one of which with Outwit with which to really wreck things up makes him a bit more dangerous than one might expect from a piece of this cost without any move-and-attack options. Though tack on Lunge and suddenly he DOES have one. After the top 3 clicks' flurry and invulnerability fades away he's no slouch either with his BCF and 19DV in close combat on click 4. He's only slouching on click 6 with the mere 2DaV and no BCF though he's still got a solid 10AV so he only has to worry about being based by invulnerable targets. A relatively solid c-note figure (so he's one point over, big deal). My main problem with him is the sculpt; he's strangely massive and comes off looking a bit gaunt and old. Comic accuracy suffers just a tad as really I think he should be a bit more BCF focused as pretty much every time I recall seeing him in the books that's what he relies on; though I do appreciate solid 3DaV instead for some of the dial as it ensures he won't fail out on busting invulnerability, even if it hurts accuracy a tad.
After fielding Fandral multiple times, with or without feats, that is a nice dial. He's good outwit, but Leap/Climb and Flurry with a 3 Damage and 11 attack is deadly. It makes me want to play him as a tie-up piece, but the Outwit makes me think twice...oh decisions. Either way thats a good dial and a strong piece.
