Characters within 4 squares of this object that can use Barrier or Telekinesis modify their range value by +2 and can use Telekinesis for 10 squares instead of 8 (for all limitations of Telekinesis).
My question would be:
Does the object increase my range value for, running shot or ranged attacks (ex: My range value, from 12, becomes 14 whenever TK/Barrier shows on my dial)?
It doesn't explicitly say that the +2 is only for barrier or TK.

I never noticed, but from what it says, you have a +2 bonus to your range value, as long as you can use either power.

Defense - Freeze'r Burn: Fire and Ice can use Barrier, Poison, and Toughness. When this figure uses Poison, it may treat all opposing figures which ended the previous turn adjacent to one of Fire and Ice's blocking terrain markers as adjacent.
So with the Blue Lantern, I can increase Fie and Ice's Barrier range from 8 to 10 (in effect their "poison range")?

No. Poison does not have range...it effects adjacent enemies. There is no range increase for poison unless you use the Orange Lantern or Toxic Burst, and it doesn't work with Fire/Ice's Special Power.

That's not what he was asking... he asked if he could increase Fire and Ice's Barrier range from 8 to 10 (which, by extension, give them a little more room to potentially Poison other characters).
And that is exactly what the Blue Lantern does: increase the range on Barrier.
