Im not very up to date with whats happened in the X-men books. The last time I checked Colossus had died.

Here is my Q - Where and what is Gambit doing right now? He was always my fave.

Second- How was the colossus thing handled? I know this is old, but Im in need of info.

Gambit s a card carrying member of The Xtreme X-Men. He is not in the current story arc, because he and Rogue are on a trip to see where the two of them are going next in their relationship. He should be back soon. If you haven't read Xtreme, run out and get the TP's. He and Rogue figure prominently in the first two major storylines.

Colossus sacrificed his life to give The Beast the final component needed to defeat the Legacy virus. The new writers seemed unconcerned with dealing with what happened, so you have to go to Claremont books. The first being the Mekanix mini-series and the other X-Men unlimited #39. Both of these books deal with Kitty Pride's response to the death of Peter, and how death affects us all.
