I dig Metamorpho, the character. The figure is just lacking. His attack values are a bit too low and drop to absurd levels too quickly. He needed at least 2 more clicks of life to really flesh out his versatility. As it stands, if you can roll really well, he can be lots of fun. If not he spends his time either attacking weak pieces or running away.
Nice Defense and defensive powers. That second click can be a pain to deal with, but pushing or landing on it can be tricky. He's decent, but you're better off using the E if you really want Metamorpho on your team.
I enjoy putting Passenger on him and carrying someone like Morlock Leader into base with someone. Now your opponent has a Flurry/Blades piece along with a 4 damage piece and Plasticity on top of them. Armor Piercing just makes him that much more dangerous. You can also toss on Auto Reg but that's starting to bloat his cost. I give a 3 accuracy just cause I don't know him that well.
Three stars? Come on, save for th elake of super strength, Metamorpho is spot on. Slap AP on him and he is solid (unless he turns into a gaseous form).
Apparently no one's ever used this version of Rex properly...
A little Armor Piercing, a possible dash of Auto Regen, Entangle, Camouflage, and/or Shellhead (depending on points available and play style), and BAM! Instant evil tie-up piece.
More of a finesse secondary attacker, yeah, but still very good. Could use a little Super Strength for accuracy, though, as mentioned...and the sculpt is cool...
I've been playing variant Outsiders teams and I FINALLY used the Vet instead of the LE...and I was shocked at how much better the veteran did for me than the JLE version.
I equipped him only with Passenger, and had him carry vet Katana into position. Foes were then facing Metamorpho's click #2, or a charge from Katana.
