i have used this card on a HoT Venom to tie up all sorts of support pieces, i would say that if you have just 3 points left it can really help, also i have put my venom in front of a SI Doom, next turn i B/C/F for 5, reduced to 3, then i got out of the way, outwited the def. and smashed him with a preplexed up HoT thor to do a one turn kill on Doom
