I keep reading and viewed people placing action tokens on thier characters after the character has completed an action. However, more than half of the poawers and abilities require that the character be given the token to activite the power/ability.

Page 6: "ACTION TOKENS
When you give a character any action (other than a free action – see page 7), give the character an action token after the action is resolved"

What things are you talking about, by the way? The only things I can think of which say to place a token are the CSA and Theme PCs, Incap, and Protected. Evrything else says to give the figure an action.

I was interpreting

Flurry: Give this character a close combat action
Phasing/ Teleport: Give this character a power action
Charge:Give this character a power action
Energy Explosion: Give this character a range combat action;
Barrier: Give thic character a power action
so on and so forth

meaning give the character a power action to activate the power/ability. My mistake, none of these powers say to give the character the token before hand...
