Strikezone closed their brick & mortar location a while back. I'm not sure if they ever opened another brick & mortar, but as far as I know they no longer hold that techincal status.
Please correct me if I'm wrong and they have opened a new store. They're not too far for me to drive and check out their shop.
Hmm, well that's news to me.
They have a non-PO box address for a contact:
Strike Zone

If it's just a house or apartment, they must get an awful lot of mail from their miniatures buying.
I'd hate to be their mailman.

Heh, I once got 23 cases of clix delivered when I lived in an apartment. They took them to the apartment office instead of dropping them off. The super called me, and I walk in and their entire office is wall to wall clix.
I had to borrow a dolly and wheel them off 3 at a time.
See, I ordered from Miniature Market and they were great, but apparently the receipt was not considered a proper receipt that was good for the BiBtB program.
for BatB I didn't even send my receipts...left them in my wallet on accident and I still got my brick figures :-/
You can get a case for $140 at popularcollections.com
Local shops charge $12 per booster. $12x20= $240
With Hammer of Thor, I bought one case at a local game store, and she overcharged me, at $13.00 a booster, then gave me a $20% discount, and I paid over $220 for a case. After that, I refused to buy another case from her, instead buying a second case online for $165 after shipping and handling. I sold about $175 worth of doubles on eBay, making up some of my loss, which actually made up for my second case.
I prefer to support my local shops... as long as I'm not being overcharged.
The venue I judge at, and my home venue since 2003, I have already paid for 2 cases of WotSM. They gave me a 20% discount. I paid $208.98 for each case.
I would prefer to pay the extra $58 extra for each case than to buy online and save cash. I want to support my local gaming shop as much as possible, as without them, we don't have a venue to play at. And I won't take that for granted, considering 2 of the 6 venues in this area have closed down.
The online shops already get enough of my money from me buying singles.

Our venue closed down....so that being said, I'm saving as much money as I can when buying cases.
Of course, I can't afford the extra $58 per case, in fact, I think 58 bucks is a little TOO much, if you ask me, esp. during this economy, but hey...that's me, they get my support in other ways like buying comics and buying boosters and other such products sold in the store.

Of course, I don't have money burning a hole in my pocket to spend the extra cash to support a venue during this economy, they get my support in other ways like buying comics and buying boosters and other such products sold in the store.
I hear ya! Sucks about your venue... and if you don't have the money to burn... some great deals on the interwebz.
Where I am bricks are 10$ per booster plus tax. that is about 107$ about. I get the brick figure with that so it saves me 10-20$ on ebay.
For $155.00, 50$ more i get double the boosters online from min.market. I still need the brick figure so 165-175$ plus and i probably won't get all of the super rares.
so 101 figures for 175$ online about 1.7$ a fig
51 figures for 107$ (+s&h for bibtb) about 2.3$ a fig
not getting a brick and just buying boosters and random figures
5 boosters x 12$ = 60$ 2.4 a fig
or just buy the ones i really really want as singles...hmm good thing i have 2 months to decide...

Erm, does Strikezone Online have cases I'm missing besides the Avengers case I see for $500???
I don't think they deal direct to sell cases, just singles they buy from people...
Online retailers are selling cases for $140-$150, so they are roughly $100 cheaper if you don't have a good standing to get a discount.
But, like I said, I will buy a good amount online , and still buy some from my LCBS here and there
And you wonder why you don't have a good enough local standing to get good-to-great discounts.
Your local vendor knows who his valued customers are (& aren't)....
I'm from the Orlando area and http://coolstuffinc.com is where I go for most of my gaming purchases. They don't do any Heroclix events because Magic is king there, but they have very good prices, good shipping prices and get things in faster than most places.
The only thing they sell is Bricks, some battle packs and the Blackest Night Starter.
Plus, they're a brick 'n' mortar store, which should meet the requirement.
So does anyone know of a place for a brick pre-order less than or equal to around 80$ online that is pretty good?
See my post above yours. They sell right at $80. I've been to the actual store and they had a ton of the Brave and the Bold bricks, so I'm sure they'll do the same for the Spiderman one.
I just checked and they are taking pre-orders for the Spiderman bricks right now. I've seen them get things in faster than almost anywhere else, but that was for board games, but I expect that it'll be the same for Heroclix.
My local venue is selling bricks fo $89. Not as cheap as some of the online retailers, but in an effort to support him, and because I can go to the ultra fun release party, im making an effort this set to buy from him.
Logan:I'm an X-Man and on 2 Avengers teams.
Mockingbird:How the hell do you do that?
Logan: Multitasking. Its my mutant power. Dont tell anyone.
1) That particular store, at $140, is selling them at below cost, doesn't mention it's a pre-sale, says, "Availability: Usually ships the next business day." and as a competitor that, well, "dandelion" colored liquid's me off.
2) Most local shops do not charge $240 for a case.
Comical, Woolverine, Pop of Pop's Culture Shoppe and Wellsboro Comic Con.
