So you're telling me we pay 60 points for a flyer with 2 clicks of Earthbound ?! And who charges the rest of the time but does 2 damage tops ?!? All the while you can play the - already not very good - Vet for 3 less points. And you gain ? A 6 range. Ok. Next, please...
If only they would have repainted him to have his original first appearance costume...like that would have been that hard since this was the hardest to obtain...it would have been a must have.
I think this piece is greatly under-rated. The 6 Range leaves you options considering if he doesn't Charge he's got 18 defense. The Toughness is a nice surprise incase you're getting duo-attacked or flurried and the person had but 1 damage. The random Close Combat Expert with Combat Reflexes for a great defense jump is really handy...and for all those who didn't like it...it's because when he came out you could be based to him but just ignore the Combat Reflexes by shooting up at him cause he's a flier.
I love how Mobile he is and how he's probably going to get alot of attacks in, hopefully successfully before dying because of all that Charge. The ending Willpower is another treat because at the end of a game that can be lethal.
For any amount of points there's always better options but the ability to use a very decent version of the Falcon who can do more than what he's worth is never points wasted...
Ace of the Secret Society of Supervillains Clan!
Yellowjacket (Human) - 100 points of P-Y-M-P - Sweet Papa Doom/BPW
I really like where they went with this guy - he presents a lot of choices to the player, none of them outstanding but all of them competent. Staying at range is an option because of his good defense. Pushing to Charge is ok because he gets Toughness. Getting him in there is ok because of his "grounded" combat skills for close combat where it's needed. There's also a lot of Charge on this guy, with high speed values! I'm not sure the naysayers appreciate how that plays out in practice, allowing him to do important maneuvers even in the endgame before he's taken out.

This figure is almost unplayable because of the fact that he has low base damage, no team ability and no keywords. For 60 points or less, there are other better choices out there that will have a team ability and keywords (50 point Spider-man comes to mind)
I think this version of Falcon is overlooked because of his weaker damage values and lack of keywords, which is a shame. The semi-translucent sculpt is a nice touch.
You have to compare Snap to V Angel (Danger Room Starter) in order to gauge his usefulness. Despite the lack of keywords and a TA, his biggest strengths are a 6 range with ESD and mid-dial Earthbound. Lunge transforms him into an extremely annoying tie-up piece that can deal 3 damage and is hard to hit up close (17-18 DV), and the Earthbound allows him to be taxied.
