Can BatCat use it? Double based figure on a single square special object. My instinct is to say yes as I know of nothing that restricts this but figured I should ask.
And thanks for any help you can provide!
What we do in life echoes in eternity!
Respect is a given, only disrespect can be earned.
Does it say that a double base can't use it? No? Then he can use it :> Same as if they had one end in hindering and one out. One is in hindering so the fig is in hindering, even though you could still shoot the end thats outside it. One end is on the object, so the fig is on the object and can use its special rules.
Sigh... I wish I had something clever or witty to put here...
i'd say with the new ruling that they had about special terrain that it would be no.
They stated to occupy an object/square the whole base must be in the same square.
With stealth it only matter if you target the square that is in hindering. If you target the part that is out and your LoF never crosses hindering then stealth does not activate, and no +1 to DEF.

Yes but regardless of which square you start your movement from you are in hindering and would have to move at half-speed right? Cause you are in hindering, and you are on the object. WHat do the new rules say if they have changed, I didn't notice this change...

You are correct about that.
From the Player's Guide:
Quote
If a multi-base character has any of its base in hindering terrain and of the rest of its base in clear terrain, it is starting its movement in hindering terrain regardless of which end the movement is lead with.

Maraud is referring to the rule below.
From the Player's Guide:
Quote
Terrain
...
Special terrain (orange squares) that require a character to occupy the square, require the entire base must be occupying the terrain.
That rules doesn't cover objects, but it could be applied to the situation (or not.)

I'm not sure if this is what you meant, but if you shoot the end that is not in hindering then there is no bonus from the other end being in hindering terrain.
Speaking of the Kinetic Accelerator, Can you reroll your boost from it?
That's fine. (I assume we're talking about PC.) The roll for the Kinetic Accelerator is made by the character occupying the square and since it is your turn when you roll it, it can be rerolled.
Gonna toss in a variable for you guys.
What if Bat and Cat are placed on two Kinetic Accelerators? Roll twice & pounce forever? Roll once and pounce a little further? No roll due to no occupation of entire base?

Reason: spelling
TEAL? Teal is for people who have not yet mastered sarcasm to the point it is always evident, even in text form
there. search is our friend. Bat & Cat can use it, and to answer the other question, if two were next to each other, you'd use 1, replace, then use the 2nd with the new value from the 1st usage.
