How can you be so sure?
...
To say that you can somehow magically see how someone unversed would read it is ludicrous.
This is going off topic and not really relevant so I'm not going to argue it.

Are the only issues that exist the ones that the rule posse say exist? I don't really understand how that works. Regardless, we're not going to agree. (Or actually we do agree on the ruling, but reach it in different ways.) I'm not sure there is anything to be gained from further discussion.
Most - If not all colossals are immune to Possession.
Remember that Possession is not Mind Control. Just because a colossal is immune to Mind Control does not mean it is immune to Possession. (And since most colossal characters were created before Possession even existed and no addition has been included in the Player's Guide, most are not immune to Possession.)
I'd hate to flame the fans of this argument, but I just started playing a little more than a month ago, and I was under the impression that the Player's Guide supercedesthe rulebook?
So even though the rulebook states the action needs to end, the Guide says with regards to Posession that it ends the game when it happens to the opponent's last figure.
I think it's because the Guide "knows" that Posession keeps the opossing figure friendly after the action ends, and decides to skip that whole process and get straight to the game ending.
Just my $.02, it is a very fine distinction, though I'd like to know if any of my logic is wrong.
